How Difficult Is It To Find Great Meetings To Attend in Washington?!

The answer used to be very difficult! But not any more

When I moved to Washington, just like when I moved to North Carolina, it was difficult to find meetings to attend - both socially and professionally. Me, I'm spoiled. The newspapers in Brooklyn, Staten Island and even NYC contain long lists of calendar of events. And my favorite paper, the Staten Island Advance, not only ran a calendar events list twice a week, they had such community spirit that other newspapers could benefit from. Your event had a few ways of ending up in the paper, including a meeting notice after the event.

Anyway, as a way to keep the organizations I found, I created a page on my site. And from time to time I'd get an email asking me if I could put the groups in some sort of order. The end result, is this page, one of the best places to find organizations and associations in the Puget Sound area.

This page is updated often. Come back to visit. Yes, you have my permission to link your web site to this page or to send me an organization that is missing. What I need is it's name, web site address and what category I should place it in. Of course, I reserve the right to not list a site without reason.
