Business Plan As Seen in Oprah

  1. Free virtual seminar
  2. Take a tour of the web-based One Page Performance Management System
  3. Samples plans
  4. Create your first-draft completed plan in less than 2 hours with Point, Click, Plan software
  5. 6-hour virtual or in person clinics
  6. There is a book you can purchase to complete your plan. I can say that most often, the book will stay on a shelf because it can take hours upon hours to complete your plan using the book. That's why the software is so beneficial. I send the book to clients WITH the software.

Maria created her first business plan during a 1-day clinic. What it did was help her take what was in my head and put it down on paper. It actually gave her more of what I had been doing and that wasn't good enough because that was more of what she had been doing -- and that wasn't working out so well. So she worked with her coach and changed her business so that it did work. What you see on her websites is that change. Years later, when a certification process in the one-page process was available, she jumped to it. Now her clients create their plans in 1/2 the time it took her to create her plan back in 2000. They use software certified consultants like her are able to provide her clients.

Today, Maria only works with business owners who will complete their plan within the first 30 days of us working together. She's found this process to be that important.

A Plan To Attract Investors

If your business requires funding from a bank, Angel Investor, Venture Capitalist, or a business savvy family member, you'll need to create a larger plan. And you may be required to show a one-sheet page plan, too. Ask before you drive yourself nuts. For example, an angel investor company I know requires a 1 page plan, then if you get to the next level, they want a 5 minute presentation. Then if you get past that, they want to see your plan. So do your homework.

The E-Myth Revisited
Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to do About It
by Michael E. Gerber
The truth is that most business owners are NOT entrepreneurs. In fact, most business owners are technicians - people who go into a business doing what they love doing, but who know very little about "the business of business." So what can these technicians learn from this book? Lots. Including identifying what they need to do in order to build a strong business foundation and have an excellent chance of becoming successful.

Those who have been in business for a while, but aren't making enough money or who are working too many hours, can learn what's missing from their business and "get on it." Choose the right book, audio or CD for your profession.
